All About Michael

Fluent in English, Akan, and Twi, Michael is a compassionate and seasoned psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience. His breadth of experience includes work as a counseling and case management team leader for the Scott Mission Men’s Ministry Toronto where he promoted a sense of community and belonging to those in need during difficult times. He has also worked in a number of rehabilitation clinics helping individuals manage chronic pain and the psychological trauma associated with motor vehicle accidents. Michael is board certified in motor vehicle trauma. 

Well spoken, Michael has also served as a Guest speaker at various community-organized events sharing valuable insights and expertise in the areas of marriage, family, and mental health in the Greater Toronto Area. Michael also serves as an Associate Pastor in the Durham Region, providing spiritual guidance and support. His experience and expertise in ministry have given him the ability to serve his clients with understanding and a high degree of empathy to support and promote their spiritual health and wellbeing. 

Michael is a Masters level psychotherapist licensed in Ontario (with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario), therefore clients of this province are eligible for reimbursement through their private extended health insurance providers. Clients of British Columbia may also request services dependent on their plan details.
