Hey There

Life can be difficult and reaching out for help can feel that much more challenging. That’s why I like to describe counselling as a unique opportunity to have someone supporting you on your journey.

During our time together, you will be able to slow down, put down your guards and explore your thoughts, your emotions, and your experiences in the presence of a safe person. Together, we will gain a deeper understanding of who you are and where your emotions and experiences are coming from. And, you will be empowered to work towards a goal that is true to who you are.

All About Mee Yun

Fluent in English, French, and Korean, Mee Yun boasts a diverse range of experience working with individuals and couples across all age groups in a variety of settings – from government institutions to community and church settings. Mee Yun is both gifted and wise. Her breadth of experience includes leading both in-patient and out-patient groups in hospital settings, leading overseas outreach trips to struggling communities, using her skill in diplomacy as an effective conflict mediator for a number of organizations, and several years of experience in educational course development and instruction.

Mee Yun’s gift in understanding her clients’ experiences and uncovering what lies beneath the surface has made her highly sought out by clients. She is passionate about journeying alongside those she serves – empowering them to live authentically, wholeheartedly, and in the fullness of who they are. A lifelong learner, Mee continually integrates various counseling theories and approaches, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman method, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Mee Yun is a strong ally for her clients and works to provide them with a safe space.
